What this site is, and isn't.
This is a marketing site. withstaple.com describes Staple, the household cooking journal, and links to the app itself. The site does not require you to sign up for anything, hold an account, or pay for a subscription.
The app has its own terms. When you open Staple and create a household, you agree to the app's End-User License Agreement and Terms of Service. Those terms cover the relationship between you and Staple as a user of the app: account responsibility, acceptable use, content ownership of recipes and notes you add, household membership, payment if a paid tier exists, and how disputes are handled.
Use this site honestly. Don't scrape it for AI training. Don't copy the wordmark, the design system, the photography, or the editorial voice. Don't set up a clone site at a confusingly similar domain. Otherwise: read it, share it, screenshot a section if it stayed with you, link to it from your blog or your kitchen wall.
No warranty. The site is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it accurate, but specifications, screenshots, and stated launch timing can drift as the app evolves. If a page says one thing and the app does another, trust the app.
Changes. These terms and the privacy policy may be updated as the project evolves. The “LAST UPDATED” line at the top of each document reflects the most recent revision. Material changes — the kind that affect what you agree to, not just typo fixes — will be noted in the changelog at the bottom of the relevant page rather than slipped in silently.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, where the operator is established. The Impressum names the operator and registered address. Nothing in this clause limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under the law of your habitual residence.
